High School Student - Conference 2.png

Welcoming all High School Scholars!

The Eureka Social Impact Awards celebrates the bright minds and achievements of all young scholars! We welcome all high school researchers to apply for this award conference. Join us in this inspiring event where students from diverse backgrounds come together to showcase their research, exchange ideas, and inspire one another to reach greater heights!

Eureka Program Social Impact Awards

The Eureka Research Program firmly believes that academic excellence merits recognition and celebration. The Eureka Program hosts the annual Social Impact Awards, allowing high school students to showcase their research work before a panel of mentors and scholars. Students can submit research outcomes or proposals from all different summer programs, research camps, competitions, and individual research endeavors. Our objective is to demonstrate the remarkable capabilities of young scholars to conduct and showcase quality research.

An Award Dedicated to High School Students

The Eureka Program firmly believes in providing high school students with the chance to engage in scientific research. Every year, we organize research workshops across 20+ academic disciplines, mainly in the areas of S.T.E.M., Humanities, and Social Sciences. With our guidance, over 600 students have successfully pursued their research goals, making exceptional contributions. That's why we host our annual Eureka Social Impact Awards, where we proudly recognize and showcase the outstanding work of our young scholars!

The absence of high school academic conferences represents a missed opportunity to nurture and showcase the research passion of students, hindering their intellectual and academic growth. Without such platforms, students may lack the motivation and encouragement to delve deeper into research endeavors during their formative years. High school is a critical period where students begin to explore their interests and develop their academic identities, and the absence of conferences deprives them of an avenue to demonstrate their potential and receive recognition for their scholarly achievements. Without opportunities to showcase their research, students may struggle to find a channel to present their research outcomes. This award conference serves as a powerful tool for all students to showcase their intellectual capabilities, thereby increasing their appeal to colleges seeking high-achieving individuals with a passion for academic inquiry.

Beginning in 2024, the Eureka Social Impact Award will expand its reach by welcoming high school researchers who have participated in other research programs, academic camps, competitions, or pursued individual research projects.

Application Boosters

College / Competitions / Summer Programs / Job Applications – these highly competitive applications are increasingly focusing on how students showcase their uniqueness through social impact projects. For students with limited time, completing a full research paper isn't necessary; instead, the emphasis should be on presenting creative ideas effectively.

Process Overview

  • The project can be completed in as little as two weeks and can be flexibly adjusted based on the student’s needs.

  • We provide photos, certificates, and other documents to support students’ applications.

For students applying to summer programs or universities, video presentations and other materials can be included in their applications. These concise and visually engaging materials help admissions officers quickly understand the student’s ideas and creativity.

For students preparing for ISEF and other competitions, this process helps build early awareness, develop clear and effective communication skills, and improve presentation abilities to effectively convey complex ideas in a simple and engaging way.

Why Participate?

In traditional research models, topics tend to be repetitive, making it hard for students to stand out. Admissions officers see similar projects every year, which rarely leave a strong impression.

We develop unique, creative research topics tailored to each student, focusing on globally relevant and academically engaging discussions. Many students struggle with "I don’t know what to research." Our approach provides highly specific ideas, drawing inspiration from student interests and real-world issues.

Students will also have the opportunity to participate in the annual touring SOCIAL IMPACT AWARD offline exhibition. This is a rare opportunity that can help enhance CVs and application profiles.

Did you know that most science fair winners have one thing in common?

They worked with an experienced mentor. At the Eureka Program, we connect ambitious young scientists with experienced mentors—undergraduates, graduates, professors, and industry professionals—who provide the expertise and support needed to turn innovative ideas into award-winning projects. Whether you're aiming to excel at prestigious competitions like ISEF or looking to enhance your research skills, our Science Fair Mentorship Program is designed to help you succeed.

Expert Guidance

Mentors provide expert advice and insights, helping students navigate complex scientific concepts and methodologies that might be challenging to tackle alone.

Networking Opportunities

Experienced mentors can connect students with a broader network of professionals and academics, opening doors to additional learning opportunities, internships, or future collaborations.

Access to Resources

Mentors often have access to valuable resources, such as advanced laboratory equipment, specialized software, or academic journals, which can significantly elevate the quality of the project.

Structured Feedback

Regular feedback from a mentor helps students refine their project, identify weaknesses, and make necessary adjustments, leading to a more polished and competitive final presentation.
